Since the age of tot a pencil has been playing as my trusty tell-tale and companion. Nowadays it’s the tool to my trade as an illustrator. This blog will draw on that (ha) and hopefully spread a bit of cheer as it does so.

I gain a huge sense of enjoyment from learning about new people, places and things, be they philosophical or physical, whether on my doorstep, overland or seas, or in another time or dimension. I’m often sat at the desk drawing, plugged into the radio or researching titbits but can feel like I’ve just boarded a shooting star; danced with a troop of monkeys; or made a discovery of such colossal scientific flair  … Information makes me intrepid and I find it a great vehicle to travel.

This love does extend beyond my desk however and I DO have a doorstep SO it makes perfect sense to mix the two and play the tourist at home. This blog will track that journey and in turn hopefully prove a trusty guide and companion to you.
